Jason Burley CFP®, B Bus, G. Dip Fin Planning (Sec. Inst.) Jason attained a Bachelor of Business from Southern Cross University in 1997 and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the Securities Institute in 2003. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) since 2010. Eva joined Elias Financial Services as a trainee accountant in July 2010. She assists professional accountants with preparing quarterly BAS, annual tax returns and financial accounts. Eva also works as Jason’s assistant in Financial Planning. In 2008, Eva attained double master degrees in Professional Accounting and Commerce from USYD (University of Sydney). She is currently progressing to be a Certified Practicing Accountant.
George Elias B.Comm., Dip. FP., CPA(FPS), CFP®, MIAA(AMC)
George Elias is the principal of Elias Financial Services and is an Authorised Representative of Count Financial Limited - ASIC adviser ID No. 231374.
George has a B.Comm. (with merit) from the University of NSW and a Diploma of Financial Planning (Dip.FP). He has been a Certified Practising Accountant member of CPA Australia since September 1989 and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia Limited (FPA) since November 1996. George has been providing financial / accounting advice as principal of Elias Financial Services since July 1991 to a wide range of personal and small/medium business clients, and he has been providing investment advice as an authorized representative of Count since June 1992. In February 2000, CPA Australia designated George a Financial Planning Specialist. George also specialises in tax effective loan structuring drawing on his experience as a tax advisor and mortgage broker.
Jason Burley is employed as a Financial Planner in our Firm, and can help you with a broad range of financial advice. Jason joined Elias Financial Services in March 2006 and since then, has been a great help to many of our clients. Jason has 9 years of experience working as a Financial Planner. He started up his own Business in 2001 which he later sold in 2005. He then spent 6 months specialising in the Wealth Protection side of Financial Planning.
Krisoula Sevian
Kris joined Elias Financial Services 15 years ago as a receptionist who has progressed to a supervisory position. She deals with the preparation of clients bookkeeping, quarterly BAS, monthly IAS, wages, annual PAYG summaries, workers compensation and employer superannuation. Kris also trains new employees to assist her with this process and oversees their work. Her interests include mountain biking, cycling, hiking, rock climbing, going to the gym and beach.
David Elliot
David Elliot is a fully qualified Accountant & has been employed at EFS since January 2007. He has over 10 years experience in Tax & Accounting in Australia in addition to many years of operating his own business.
Catherine Newman
Catherine shares reception and administrative duties with Jill and also works as an Accounts Clerk. She assists with the preparation of Income Tax Returns, and handles applications for new companies and trusts. Catherine has been with the company since February 2007.
Her interests include bush walking, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Jill Kennard
Jill joined our team in July 2009 and shares the reception and administration tasks with Catherine. Previously she has been a teacher and has also worked in Payroll and Human Resources for a multinational insurance brokerage. She holds a BA DipEd and Postgraduate Certificate in TESOL from Macquarie University and a TAFE Graduate Certificate in Personnel Management.
Jill's interests include travel, music, international affairs and yoga.
