On the death of my husband I found the superannuation we had taken out back in the 80’s as self employed people covered Insurance premiums only.  We were badly advised, nor did we really understand the long term implications.  Retirement plan - what was that?   We didn’t seek Financial Advice which we obviously should have done. 

Here I was at 60 years of age and I had absolutely no superannuation; what I did have was a death policy and when I retired I would be living on the old age pension. Talking to a friend voicing my concerns over my future and wondering what to do, they suggested I contact Elias Financial Services. I have known Jason in a professional context for a period of time.  On one of our early meetings we were informally speaking about my young family when I mentioned that I still needed to top up my life Insurance and also apply for income protection, as at that point I didn’t have any.
